ABOUT ME

I love trying new things, and am most at home when I'm outdoors. I can get along pretty well with just about anyone. I'm currently a graduate student, studying glaciers and climate change. I spend most of my spare time these days rock climbing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed before, but I'm excited to try. Hopefully I can meet some interesting people.

Interests

I love the outdoors! I love rock climbing, dirt biking, canyoneering, caving, kayaking, hiking, camping, scuba diving, and pretty much anything else outdoors. I love to plan trips to places I haven't been and to try things I haven't done. I'm also very passionate about music, but completely unmusically talented myself. I love going to concerts! Sports are lots of fun to play, but I honestly can't stand watching them usually. Growing up near the beach, I love the beach, but haven't gotten to spend a ton of time there in the last few years.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of my big passions in life. I listen to a lot of indie music, with some alternative, folk, and bluegrass influences. I spend lots of spare time finding new music that I like and going to concerts. I love to read, but don't do it as often these days as it's way too easy for me to stop doing anything else once I start. Movies are fun too, but less of a passion than the other two.
