About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make it home.

ABOUT ME

Programmer, artist, coffee drinker, digital nomad. I can trouble-shoot your computer, solve your high school algebra problems, draw your portrait and ask for the bathroom in Old Icelandic ... all at the same time! ;-) A fountain of useless information, you want me on your team for trivia night.

PHILOSOPHY

A life well lived is like a game of Frogger. Don't try to swim for it. Find a log and go for a ride. Then hop on another. Repeat as necessary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spent 2.5 years on the road meeting all you interesting CS'ers in your native habitats. You're a motley crew, but I love you. Now I'm settled again and am ready to pay it forward. Give me your tired, your huddled CS'ers yearning to blah, blah, blah.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted plenty and couch-surfed some. Mostly, I use couchsurfing as a way to meet like-minded folk all over the world.

Interests

Running, reading, snowboarding, drawing, computer programming, hiking, more reading, hanging in coffee shops, live music, and TRAVELING (duh).

Fav. books: Godel Escher Bach, The Language Instinct, Snow Crash, Dune, His Dark Materials Trilogy, LotR, Understanding Comics

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my way to the Mussel Inn on New Zealand's south island, walking down a thick overgrown path after dark in the pitch black, lit only by the glow worms in the foliage that's gently blowing in the light breeze, breathing the lush old-growth air and feeling like I was floating.
