I love music that is passionate, regardless of genre. With movies, I love 90s Julia Roberts chick flicks, international films, and anything that is thought-provoking or impactful. I appreciate character development. Some of my favorite books are Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, The History of Love by Nicole Krauss, and Letters to a Young Poet by Rilke.
