ABOUT ME
Hi guys! I present myself..I'm Erica Bascetta. I am italian. I come from the colourful, always sunny and lovely Sicily, exactly from a town situated on the slopes of Etna (or like we usually call it "the lady" xD), Adrano, near Catania!
I am also a student,I graduated in Biology at Catania's University and now I'm continuing my study in Pavia with the master in Experimental and applied biology.
As you can understand, I love study all the forms of life we have in our wonderful world..animals, human, and also vegetals! But don't worry, I am not interested only in Biology!
When I was 18 years old I officially did my first travel out of Italy and I went to Paris for one week. That experience completely change me and brought me to fall in love with the idea that one day I would become a citizen of the world!
In 2015 I have had the great opportunity to take part to Erasmus plus project and I literary flew, for 5 months, in Poland. The city I lived in was Poznan, a student city that gave me the best memories and moments of my life until now. That months gave me a lots of friends from each part of Europe and Turkey and it opened my mind and my eyes to a new concept to see and live the world.. travelling!
During my Erasmus i traveled around Poland and I discovered this world called "Couchsurfing"!
I visited Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow, Lods, Wroclaw.. but I went also in Berlin during the weekends ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing was new to me. I didn't know its existence until my Erasmus experience. It allows you to meet constantly different people and the thing that I like most is that sometimes it allows you to create friendship's bond deep and lasting over time!

兴趣

Stay at home make me feel bad xD I need to go out, stay in contact with people, outside.
Born in a island where sea and natural landscape are the background, it has led me to love nature in all its form, so I really like go to trekking and discover new paths.
Say that I love travel is a foregone conclusion. When I arrive in a new city, I like not to program anything, I want to get lost inside it, in its people, in its culture; enjoying real life and be free.
I'm interested in each form of art: painting, sculpture, dance (*.*) and singing.
Generally i prefer listen soundtrack music, but other kinds are also acceptable except heavy metal.

I have read a lots of books of any kind, mostly classical: Jane austen (all books), jules verne and Conan Doyle are my favourite.
I'm not a cinephile, so I must admit that I have watched few movies in my life, but I'm trying to fill this hole! :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I don't remember only one thing that I done, but for sure I know one incredible thing i will do in this summer. 2018..travel around Croatia with my boyfriend! we are not planning anything, we will move with local transport and then we will decide our destinations!

Jokes aside, I'm a quiet and friendly person. I don't like being silent. I want to share my experiences, my stories, just to create a good bases for friendship.
I'm also a good cook! I can cook sicilian and italian dishes so deliciuos that they will fall in love with Italy!
