About Me
Hello fellow Wanderlusters! I'm Erica, I'm from NY but have lived all down the east coast for the last 12 years. Currently traveling around Asia after just finishing up volunteering for a month in Ghana teaching and working on a farm. I have always wanted to take some time off and travel ((don't we all)) but student loans and bills have always put a halt to that. in 2013 I made it to Cambodia to work at an orphanage but my trek around Asia was cut short by a bad injury. But I am back and ready to see as much as I can! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I actually just heard about this and think its such an amazing idea! I love meeting new people and the idea of staying with a local instead of your typical hostel sound so perfect! Get to see the city for real instead of through my lonely planet book.
Interests
Art, food, wine, yoga, traveling of course, I love animals and children. I miss my dog and cat oh so much!! So if you have animals I hope they like love because they are going to get a whole lot from me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering at an orphanage in Cambodia and then in Africa were both pretty amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn anything new! And anything I can teach you I will try my hardest :) I really enjoy cooking so learning some new local dishes would be fabulous! Then I can show you some of what I cook at home as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to cook, maybe a little yoga
