An engineer living in Denver, I love seeing new places and people. Really just starting to pursue my love of travels and CS seems like a great community to jump into that with. I grew up in Wisconsin, USA (way too cold up there!) and made my way to Denver after college. Promptly fell in love with the mountains, culture, and general energy here.

To relax, my go-to's are reading, trying new breweries, hiking, stargazing, or finding live music. I've always dreamed of travelling the world and seeing life through different lenses though, so I'm generally up for anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - usually sci-fi/fantasy, but if it's interesting, I'll devour it. Historical non-fiction to fluffy romance to philosophy, I usually have my nose in a book of some sort.
Movies - favorite movie is Dead Poet's Society.
Music - music is life, I pretty much love everything from hip-hop to Bach. I'm a sucker for live jazz and choral music sung in cavernous old churches though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently tried surfing for the first time. (Growing up in a land-locked state, that might seem a lot more impressive to me than you!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel like exchanging recipes would be a lot of fun. Any kind of dance would be great too - if you're willing to look a little silly, I'll teach you how to polka! Games are always fun (I do love playing poker), especially how the rules change depending on where you are in the world.
