About Me

I'm a half-Canadian, half-Puerto Rican from San Antonio, Texas. I love to try different beers and have open conversations with people about their work, religious/spiritual beliefs, or opinions and thoughts on society.

I'm not a huge traveler, but through my work I've been able to spend an extended amount of time working on clinical trials and product implementation in Malawi. My experiences there and the people that I've met have made me want to take advantage of other opportunities to explore, even if only on a 24-hour layover!

I'm passionate about what I do and about learning about the world, but am otherwise really laid back and kind of a derpy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mention in the "about me" section, I work in both Houston and Malawi, so I obviously need to take advantage of the long travel in between to explore new cities! I'm normally alone on these trips, and so it would be great to get in touch with a local to make my trip memorable. It'd be great to hang out and get to know the host, but I'm also fine to be pointed in the direction of a great coffee shop or park and left to wander the city on my own.
