ABOUT ME

I'm a fun loving, bright person who loves adventure and new cultures. I love to find the positive in everything and to lift the spirits of those around me when they are feeling low. I am fascinated by personality and thoroughly enjoy getting to know new people.

PHILOSOPHY

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As this season of life involves a lot of travel, I do not have a couch to offer but in the future when settled down a bit more permanently I would love to offer a comfy place to travelers!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had only great experiences so far with couchsurfing! I've been couchsurfing in Portugal, London and India.

Intereses

I love to experience new things and will try anything once. I enjoy most out door activities, biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing, a run every once in awhile ect. I played every sport in high school except for softball but my favorites are volleyball, basketball and tennis. I have a BA in Social Work and am a principal of an international kindergarten in Bangkok, Thailand.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Last month, I was in Switzerland and fully enjoying the exquisite chocolate, delicious cheese and amazing mountains. One view in particular at the top of the Santis mountain at the beginning of the Alps left me awestruck. The amazing mountains in the distance were simply majestic and I could not bring myself to look away.
