About Me

My background is in food science and I have a passion for flavor chemistry and sensory science. I'm a huge foodie and a big goal in my traveling is to try new foods. If I haven't heard of it before and somebody says it's good, I definitely want to try it!

I'm decent at small talk but I really like to just dive right in. If someone will let me, I love love love to ask them a bunch of deep questions until I feel like I've devoured the depths of their soul. I'm a pretty open/willing to be vulnerable person and I really value when someone is able to be on that level with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like connecting with people that live life in a different way than me. I cherish that reminder that there's so many beautiful ways to be in the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the 4 day Inca Trail hike to Macchu Picchu! One of the most physically challenging things I've ever done haha but it was totally worth it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love love love talking about food and flavor chemistry and cooking for people. I'm all about drinking wine and having art nights with friends.
Mostly there is so much I look forward to learning from people. I want to learn about other cultures...and have a wider knowledge of the human experience.
