About Me

ABOUT ME

I love experiencing new things and meeting new people, and sharing all of that with others. I like to think I'm down-to-earth, open and honest, tolerant, and easy to get along with. The simple, small things in life make my day. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that people should stay true to who they are at heart and follow their dreams and passions without falter. In part, this also means just being yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was new to CS a couple years ago and used it immediately then dropped off it for a while, but now I'm trying to get more involved in the CS community. I recently moved to a place in NJ that's a little out of the way for most people looking to crash, but I would love to host if you're up for it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CS experience a couple days after joining the project when I went to a CS bonfire in the city I was visiting. Met some awesome people there, who I then toured the city with the next day. Surfed a little before CS and was amazed when my brother ended up telling me about it.

Interests

Eating, volunteering, traveling, eating, smiling, laughing, eating, learning, and experiencing new things . . . and eating some more. I'm also into being more active outdoors and recently moved to an awesome community that has a few lakes with beaches.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed overnight in a Bedouin tent in the desert of Israel in a downpour and rode a soggy camel the next day. ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not a master of any skills, but I'm more than happy to *attempt* sharing my knowledge of some of the things I've picked up over the years. I love to learn through experiencing and doing, so I hope to learn a lot through CS.

Countries I’ve Visited
