I embrace life and the opportunities that it provides me.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in an innate goodness in all people, and that pain and/or fear limits us in the way we live with others. I think the more we can heal from hurts and let go of the past the more people will respond to each other in kindness and truly enjoy living their lives. I live my life in the pursuit of happiness and wellness, and strive to surround myself with others that contribute to my life in a positive way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host travelers at my place in Portland and I get down with some cool CS people from time to time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend and I surfed in France for about a month this past summer. It was the best. I've hosted a few times in Portland, and enjoyed the company of my friend's surfers.

Intereses

Things I like include people, art, music, cooking, dance, building/restoring things, heated blankets, being outside, being swept away, and my cat Harold.

I like to learn about mindfulness and meditation, and I know things related to art therapy. I know some about playing the guitar and piano, and about making art. I know how to cook, but want very much to learn different kinds of food from others I encounter in my travels.
