About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live like the king is to have fun like the peasant!

ABOUT ME

Hallo!

Swiss-American here sick of my urban nesting and money making. I'm off to beyond to seek out new adventures, friends and prolific experiences! Couchsurfing is completely new for me but it seems the best way to meet locals and immerse into the culture with no-holds-bar.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone works perfectly in their own unique view of the world. The view, however, is not the reality. Negotiation ensues.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel with my own sleeping bag...and toothbrush so the floor and a sink are the only things I need!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have toured small areas of United States with punk bands. We squatted in an abandoned mansion once where there were rats on the floor and bats on the ceiling! We thought it quite creepy so the gig was played there the next day!

Interests

I'm really big into the outdoors. This especially includes rock climbing, alpinism, hiking and camping, biking, and skiing like a madman.

Fishing. Foraging. Scavaging.

I love all types of music and enjoy creating my own!
When I travel I really only have enough space to bring my harmonicas, though.

I want to gobble up local and exotic foods and wash them down with the regions' native alcohol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was fishing in Alaska I caught a Halibut that weighed only 10lbs less than me! It took me 40 minutes to catch him and weighed 148 lbs! It was a pain in the butt to drag him along the beach but he was yummmmyyyy

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a whole bundle of American card games!

I'm big into the philosophy behind the arts, especially the performing arts and what it truly means to be expressive.

I'm not religious but can explain to you how and what rituals the major religions, and their sects, of the world practice and pray.

I'm a certified ski instructor! Take me to the slopes and I'll teach you how to ski!

I want to learn more....more of everything
