About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be immersed in many different cultures and have new and colourful experiences in every day life.
ABOUT ME
Fun, kind, honest, trust-worthy and adventurous. Likes to relax, and think it's important not to take things too seriously. Has time for friends and family. Also likes to get things done and loves meeting new people, creating new experiences and learning along the way.
PHILOSOPHY
- To give wholeheartedly without ever expecting anything in return.
- To step outside my comfort zone because the results are usually self-growth and new, fun, life-changing experiences.

Interests
I enjoy music festivals, dress-up parties (and sourcing/making great costumes for these), rock climbing, hula hooping, aerial silks, traveling the world and seeing everything, snowboarding, meeting new interesting people, craft beer, wonderful coffee, good food and conversation. Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Like many different genres of music. Love going to live gigs and music festivals. Electronic/indie dance (Hot Chip, 2 Bears, Cut Copy, Crystal Fighters, SBTRKT, Miike Snow, Gotye), Alternative rock (Kooks, Boy and Bear, Foster the People), Dance (Beni, Infusion) & Acoustic (Josh Pyke, Paul Dempsey, Elliot Smith, Ben Harper). I like most genres; although I'm not a big fan of Top 40, Country or Heavy Metal.
Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Getting Square, Shawshank Redemption, Gran Torino, The Descendants, Love Me If You Dare ("Jeux d'enfants"), Stranger Than Fiction, Snatch & Griff the Invisible.
Books recenty read: Infadel, Shantaram, Game of Thrones, A Thousand Splendid Suns and Lovely Bones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) Burning man festival, 2011. Set in the Nevada desert this was like no other festival I have been to. Everywhere you looked something new, weird and wonderful would catch your eye. From Art installations in the middle of the desert to the elaborately decorated art carts (like floats in a parade), to the hundreds of topless women riding on bikes in the "critical tits" event, to the crazy yet amazing costumes people had put immense amounts of time and energy into creating. I have been back twice since it was so fantastic!
2) Petra, Jordan, 2012. From the moment you walk through the valley of the gorge leading to the Petra buildings you know this is going to be an awe-inspiring place. Emerging from the gorge and seeing the treasury grow into sight as you see it in full view is a pretty great experience (this description doesn't really cut it and you have to go there to see it for yourself.) All of the buildings (and there are many) carved out of sand-stone by the Nabaateans are extravagant and was such a great day of exploring.
3) My 29th birthday... San Sebastian, amazing food and wine at Arzak. The day started out with great food for lunch at a small tapas bar in San Sebastian with my boyfriend where we ate Ox cheek (cooked perfectly in an amazing jus), Pigs Ear (something that scared me immensely but was delicious), cheese risotto and tortellini with wine of course. But the best part was still to come.... Arzak (3 michelin star restaurant). Food looked, smelt, tasted spectacular. I wish I could describe it accurately but I am too overwhelmed by it to write it down. Matched with some amazing wine we had course after course after course. Everything was a hit, nothing a miss. Very special day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a good understanding of craft beer, particularly in Australia, so if you have an interest in beer or even know nothing about beer I'm sure you could pick my brains and learn a little more.
If you have any injuries or body-related queries, being an osteopath I'm sure I could give you an answer.
I want to learn about places of interest in every new town/country I visit so I can explore them and not miss the good bits.
