ABOUT ME

I’m a born-and-bred Californian now residing in New York/San Francisco after living a couple of years in China and Mexico. I’m pretty friendly and open-minded. I’m a pretty easygoing person for the most part, which means I’m down for a good discussion too or to go out and have some fun. I’m mostly interested in exploring other cultures and perspectives.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to the CSing concept through my best friend back in 2009, which in some CS circles, would make me a CS oldie. :)

I've surfed briefly in Asia and Canada though I don't really surf as much as I used to. These days, I am currently able to host people traveling wherever I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve had mostly positive experiences with Couchsurfing and continue to host surfers whenever I can. As far as surfing goes, I’ve done it in Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Amman, Istanbul and Toronto though I do it less and less these days. I’ve had the chance to meet some truly wonderful people and I would really like to keep the experience that way. (I'm just not a free couch!)

stephen colbear, figure skating, writing and technology (sometimes even together), marc jacobs, sushi, winter (i love the cold!), the beach since i grew up by it... it's home to me, reading, going to live shows and concerts, traveling? that might be implicit :)
