Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf couches and meet local people from the places that I visit. Surfed couches in Barbados, Santa Catarina (Brazil), Chiang Mai (Thailand).
I'm trying to be more active in the couchsurfing community helping cs's from around the world with local suggestion.
Trying to host and attend the CS events when I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last minute new years eve trip with a mate to see the fireworks in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro;
I had the opportunity to listen and enjoy several street musicians in Central Park, in the subway and at the Grand Central Terminal, New York;
Roadtrip with my aunt n cousin from Jersey to Baltimore n then to Washington DC, the Smithsonian museums are just incredible
Went to Six Flags Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor, man I just love roller coasters!!
Auto guided walking tour at Recife Antigo, Pernambuco;
When I saw the Iguaçu Falls for the first time, Paraná;
In Barbados at Harrison's Cave, when the tourist guide said: "scientists say that caves are the darkest places on Earth" and then turned off all the lights;
The time I went to Angra dos Reis with my family and we stayed in a church;
Last minute new years eve trip with few friends to the coast of São Paulo state, this trip ended up lasting four days;
In Chapada dos Veadeiros went to a natural thermal pool with nothing but millions of stars above our heads;
Went to a Quilombo called Kalunga at Chapada dos Veadeiros, have had a really nice and enlightened conversation with an 60 years old man that was our guide in the hiking trails to the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen;

I rowed in a kayak in Lagoa da Conceição, Florianópolis;
Went to a 48 hours bus trip from São Paulo to Petrolina - Pernambuco;
I had the opportunity to walk into a cave with no light, just using the walls as guidance;
Also I had the opportunity to visit and explore the most amazing cave at PETAR, São Paulo. Santana Cave have lots of stalagmites, stalactites, speleothems in general, just stunning;

Solo traveled two Asian countries, Thailand and South Korea;
Did a Thai cooking class in a organic farm near by Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Participated in a peaceful protest against the destruction of a public leisure space in Chiang Mai. It worked!!
Went scuba diving for the first time in Koh Phi Phi, Thailand. Great experience! Also I rowed in a kayak there;
Explore by myself the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. Got lost in the subway in the way back to my hostel, there's so much lines and stations.
Did a self guided city/bus tour in Busan, South Korea. South Korea is such an incredible country, one of the most interesting places that I went was the stunning Haedong Yonggungsa, a buddhist with breathtaking views of the sea and coast.
