About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Create and accumulate great memories from all my travels, meet like minded people \o/

ABOUT ME

Hello there, I'm Erica. I'm from Singapore but currently living in San Francisco. I feel this quote describes me the most:

“Most things about me are hard to explain, I guess, like how I’m mostly delusional and live in a half-imaginary world but am also a realist to the core. I’m just a bunch of contradictions most of the time and I don’t like it, but I also do.”
— Marianna Paige

I'm a consultant who travels rather frequently. While I'm out on my business trips, I like to tour the various cities and experience their cultures (food, nightlife... etc). I like travelling for leisure as well and I do so at every opportunity I have!

Know me better in real life! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I really like these two quotes a lot so I'll share it here:

“It’s a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you’re ready. I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now. And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.”
— Hugh Laurie

“If you’re brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello.”
― Paulo Coelho

Still finding my courage to do the stuff I want but I'm slowly getting there ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met up with a fellow Singaporean in Shanghai and it was awesome!! We just talked and hanged out like old friends and that, was an incredible and amazing feeling!

Just couchsurfed for real with awesome people in Phnom Penh and I was having so much fun with them I didn't wanna leave (sobzzzz). Rode pillion (like 2 pillion riders, only in Cambodia yo!) on moto to lotsa places, had a skateboarding crash course in 5 minutes in the apartment, went to Heart of Darkness and Pontoon to dance our hearts out, hanged up 4 hammocks in the balcony and crashed there, had dope cheese fondue for Xmas.... Man, that's the bomb!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll be glad to share my experiences (travel, life, work). Though I don't really have a skill I can impart, I believe real life experiences are valuable as well!
