PHILOSOPHY

I love studying philosophy in all its media, though I guard against getting stuck in pedantism. As David Hume wrote, "Be a philosopher; but, amidst all your philosophy, be still a man." Er, or woman.

Only once through this site (had a great experience in Oslo), but I've spent many nights on others' couches and with others on mine.

Sailed up the Nile on a Nubian felucca. Learned cricket from a group of amazing kids in Bangladesh and, in return, taught them the American fist pound (kind of a lopsided trade, I know).
