About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spending a few years exploring Toronto and doing as much hosting as I can manage before retiring at 30 and living out of a backpack for some indefinite period of time!

ABOUT ME

Like most people on this site, I love to meet new people, experience new things and travel! I enjoy all kinds of sporting and outdoor activities, but I also enjoy a good night in, drinking or playing cards or board games, cooking an amazing meal and just shooting the shit.

My major travel adventures include 9 months backpacking in Africa, 2 months spent living on an island in Honduras and most recently a month-long road trip from Northern Ontario to New Orleans and back! I'm always keen to hear others' travel stories and plan my next getaway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted people when I've had the space and amenable roommates. I love meeting people from all over, exchanging travel stories and just generally learning about other peoples' cultures and experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in several countries and hosted couchsurfers from around the world. Great system, I love it!

Interests

Super fanatic about politics (Canadian, American and other), world affairs, and scuba-diving. Like to play all kinds of sports and enjoy learning new games from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many.

I love Maritime music (and will happily teach willing students!), though there's almost no type of music that I won't listen to.

I really dig biographies for some reason, and some of my favourite authors of fiction are Robertson Davies and Mordecai Richler.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gorilla trekking in Rwanda was pretty amazing (albeit expensive!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to believe that I have some unique travel stories, though I think every serious traveler does. I'm a genuinely friendly person who is happy to carry on a conversation well past a reasonable hour and loves meeting new people.

Countries I’ve Visited
