ABOUT ME

I am a freelance UX Designer - I help companies and organisations set up more user-friendly web-sites and apps.

Before that I worked in a "behavioral economics" consultancy - we helped companies, governments and international organizations (UNICEF) change their behavior in a good way - become greener, healthier, nicer, etc. ;), (kind of like in the Radiohead song "fitter, happier"). My past jobs were at the WTO in Geneva, at the European Commission in Brussels, and at the law firm Sidley Austin in the US.

I work a lot - but what I like most about my job is that it enables me to meet new people all the time - which is also why I love couchsurfing so much. Nothing excites me more than immersing in another culture...I am always curious to hear about local cuisine, local movies and most importantly: local pop music!

Because I travel so much, I end up surfing almost all of the time - however, whenever possible I also love hosting people and have a mattress for guests in London.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as an instructor in a "play-city" for children called Mini-Munich...where children can pretend that they are grown up by working in companies and earning money and paying taxes and getting married and electing their own mayor...
