Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a great traveler, but have not done much couch surfing yet. I hope to host and visit in the near future! I have hosted strangers outside of couch surfing. One time, while living in New Orleans a group of Australians cam to my door at 10 pm. We were playing cards and they were looking for the Bed and Breakfast. It turned out that the B&B was full and they cam back and we hosted them for the night. It was great fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Beijing, the night that Hong Kong came back to China, it was the most excitement that I've ever seen in any crowd of people. The second most excitement I've experienced was the day that our president Obama was inaugurated.

Dancing to the Cure in the pouring rain at a music festival in Budapest.

Sitting on the floor of a train near New Delhi, next to an untouchable, looking at the full moon, our legs hanging out of the open doors, on my way to visit great friends.

After a day of riding horseback on safari in Zimbabwe, we sat on the roof of the lodge, drinking gin and tonics, listening to the leopards call, looking at the stars on the night that Mars was the closest to Earth in 5000 years, how can it get any better than that?
