ABOUT ME
My name is Eric and I am born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden but I got tired of my situation there so I escaped to India to do a three year bachelor at the varanasi hindu university. There I studied lingusistics, English and Buddhist philosophy. The real reason I went there though was to learn an Indian percussion instrument called the Tabla. I am a great fan of languages as well and since childhood I speak Swedish, French and Spanish (mother spanish and father french). I'm also taking classes in Hindi when in India, but the most difficult of all languages for me at the moment is the Indian Classical music.

Centres d'intérêt
Main interest is indian classical music with the tabla in particular. After three years of studying intensely this music, I have come to a point where I no longer listen to any other music but Indian Classical. Other interests are Buddhism, Hinduism/yoga and psychology. I try to live as holistically as possible.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Spending three months in a kibbutz in Israel opened my eyes somewhat to the world and traveling - getting outside my box so to say. That and the accompanying trips to Petra, Jordan, the boattrip along the Nile in Egypt and the time spent on the beach in Sinai.
But what changed my life completely was going woofing in Greece and meeting amazing and inspiring people there. I stopped doing what I was doing in Stockholm, made some radical changes in my life and went to live and study music in India.
