ABOUT ME

I'm a 22-year-old graduate student at Yale University in Connecticut, USA currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Physics.

I love photography and traveling; I'm always up for something new and want to go everywhere to see the sights, experience the culture, and talk to the people.

I'm excited to have the opportunity to travel around and hope to make the most of my time in grad school!

PHILOSOPHY

Cliché, but to make the world a better place. In whatever way I can.

I have always loved teaching and can see myself teaching as a career - either at the high school or university level. I love helping others understand stuff, and will go out of my way to help others.

I believe that people have an obligation to help others, and that selfishness is one of the worst sins. Be good to the world and it will be good back to you!

I love classical music. Chopin, Beethoven, Bach, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, etc. I love rock and pop. Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, U2, Linkin Park (yes), etc. I love classical music meshed with rock and pop (orchestras playing Lady Gaga, anyone?)

In my spare time (I wish I had more of that) I like taking pop songs and transcribing it on piano. I also am a video game nerd and appreciate the music, and love playing theme songs on the piano.

I don't have favorite movies or books and always hate that question because I never know how to answer it, but I will say I hate High School Musical.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I got the chance of fulfilling a life long dream recently - to drive a race car on the infamous Nürburgring, the longest and most convoluted race track in the world. Since I am really into cars and auto racing, this was an absolute blast for me and I am glad to have done it!

Ask me a question about science and I'll go on and on. I am filled with random geeky facts and am not afraid to share them.

I also love music; I've played the piano for 14 years and going, violin for 5 years, and picked up guitar recently. If you play a musical instrument we can jam!

I also really got into swing dancing last year, but am still a beginner and would definitely want to learn more moves!

I'm always up for learning something new, from knitting to sailing - just let me know!
