Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While studying at the University of Texas at El Paso, i got the opportunity to Travel to Costa Rica to do research at the Universidad de Costa Rica. During this trip, I stayed with a local family for 7 weeks and it was the most amazing eye opening experience i have ever had. I learned so much about their culture through language, food, and way of living day through day for those 7 amazing weeks. I made so many friends and to this day we still keep in touch. I guess the reason im on couch surfing is because I like to have that much more humbling and authentic connection which is done in people's own homes. I also just graduated from college so i dont have much money, but once i finish with this trip ill get on that job search and begin!

Interests

Basic interests are my cars. I own 2 old Datsuns. A 1972 510 and a 1979 620. I love working on them and enjoy driving them. I also like riding my bicycle a lot and going on jogs. Live music is the best! Music festivals are a lot of fun, but i prefer the intimacy of a small venue show.
