Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up listening mainly to heavy metal music (blame my brothers, and Black Sabbath) and to the stuff my father used to put on (Brazilian popular/folk music and other such things, along with some classic rock 'n roll). Eventually I got into classical music (especially Dvorák, Brahms and Bach), and I have played the classical guitar for a number of years now.
My favourite movie director is probably Ingmar Bergman (especially Cries and Whispers, Persona, and Through a Glass Darkly).
My favourite book is surely Tolstoy's War and Peace. Probably the first one which really struck me was Dostoievsky's Notes From the Underground. Recently I read Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre and I was really impressed.
