I am a retired teacher. I was headteacher in a primary school in North of France. But I'm still working : monitoring examinations and expertises for the European Erasmus+ Agency.

My wife, Chantal (56) is a florist.

We have 4 children, Julie (30) is a shop manager in Brussels, Marion (27) is CFo in a group working mainly in tourism in Antilles and Guiana, she's living in French Guiana, Rémi (21) is a student in a computer engineering school and Thibaut (21) is studding hotel-restaurant management.

We have a grand-son, Lenny born in April 2015, and we are crazy about him...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my wife, Chantal, like to meet people, and exchange about way of life, culture.

We are also members of an other network, Servas, an international, non-profit, non-governmental federation of national Servas groups, encompassing an international network of hosts and travellers. The purpose of the network is to help build world peace, goodwill and understanding by providing opportunities for personal contacts among people of different cultures, backgrounds and nationalities. I am the the Regional coordinator of Servas Nord-Picardie-Champagne-Ardennes.
