CURRENT MISSION

I'm currently traveling the world in an effort to better understand other cultures while I produce a book of experiences and photography. I'm working to become the first African American to visit every country. At 84 and counting.

ABOUT ME

I'm a Travel Journalist specializing in Minority Travel for several International publications. I travel the world in an effort to inspire cultural understanding and interaction through my writing and photography. I travel for a living and meeting locals and ex pats gives me a chance to really understand the culture of the places I visit. I'm also trying to show the world how positive people can make travel great.

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow. Life is what happens when you stop planning. I tend to just DO things. Have had amazing experiences this way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and host when I'm in the U.S. I also attend Couch surfing events in cities I visit if possible. I travel for a living and meeting locals and ex pats gives me a chance to really understand the culture of the places I visit.
