Overview
About Me
I am a documentary filmmaker, and I love to read and cook. I'm not a big partier, and can sometimes be shy, but I really love talking and getting to know people in comfortable, quiet environments.
I am deeply invested in movements for justice, and have recently been investing my time in organizing with a workers center and with Black Lives Matter Cincinnati. I just finished a film about a family who was displaced in Over-The-Rhine, a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood of Cincinnati (and where I live), and am more broadly involved in anti-gentrification activism there. I am indebted to my queer and feminist allies (and bell hooks!) in challenging me to confront my socialized masculinst, heterosexist behaviors and assumptions.
Also, I eat tacos as often as possible.
