About Me
You can read a brief bio of me on my main website here: http://www.buddha-nature.com/about
I am usually working on something (usually a translation or essay), so I spend a lot of my time working on my laptop, and often in coffee shops. I generally don't plan on spending too much time hanging around the homes of my hosts, unless it's okay with the host.
I'm a published Tibetan-English translator and scholar of Buddhist Studies. I speak a little bit of Japanese but it's been over 9 years since I've studied it. I usually live in Dharamsala, India, but I'm just doing some traveling in Japan right now. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To reduce my costs while traveling. I like traveling, but as a Tibetan translator and scholar, I'm generally on a more limited budget.
To meet new people.
To have someone to interact with in a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to mention. I have a pretty wide-ranging and eclectic taste.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Translated a large number of Tibetan Buddhist texts, some of which are published.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Tibetan language (spoken and literary) to anyone interested.
I also like to share my experiences about living in India/Asia with people.
I like to learn just about anything and everything, so I am happy to be your student!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Substantial knowledge of a few things, including Buddhism and Tibetan language. Interesting conversation (I'd like to think). I'm interested in a large variety of topics and subjects and love to learn about new things.
