Overview
About Me
I am interested and curious about everything. I work in the coffee industry as a roaster and educator for Kona Coffee Purveyors in Honolulu. I also enjoy writing and recording music, skateboarding, and exercising.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am hoping to connect with a broad and diverse cross section of humanity. I would like to spend time with people unlike me that have experienced a different version of living than myself. I prefer to have purposeful and intentional conversations and who better than a complete stranger living at your house for a few days?
Interests
I enjoy good coffee, food, and dive bars. Listening to music with intent and purpose. I like being around people without needing to be distracted by an activity. I spend a lot of time thinking about the human condition --lightheartedly of course.

Music, Movies, and Books
Here are some of my favorite music genres: Jazz, classical, shoegaze, coldwave, soul, R&B, funk, etc... I also have an affinity for hymns, especially Gregorian Chants.
I enjoy a lot of cult films; The Holy Mountain, Altered States, Dune, Enter the Void, Eraserhead.. Also enjoy old sci-fi and horror; Alien, Blade Runner, Logan’s Planet, Mad Max, Videodrome.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I opened my own business in Minneapolis, MN. Anelace Coffee, if you are ever in that area be sure to check it out!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A distinct perspective, I am certainly not tentative when it comes to being open and honest. There is likely no topic I wouldn’t talk about. I would like to think I am fairly aware of gauging whether others want to socialize or enjoy time to themselves. I can ramble on about coffee for as long as you let me. I typically hunt down the best pastries wherever I am fairly quickly too.
