About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discover new experiences and cultures from my couchsurfers, make new friends from round the world
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Sydney, I'd been living and working in London for about 5 years , travelling the world whenever I can and experiencing new cultures. Moved to Perth for a year, lived in Melbourne, New Zealand and now back home in Sydney
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started off attending the CS meetings in London for the social aspect, and since then have both hosted and surfed through Europe. CS is a great community to make new friends and experience different cultures, especially in such a diverse city like London. When I'm hosting couchsurfers, I like to be spending time with them, and getting to know them, not just a place to sleep.
It is great to make friends from round the world, and having an excuse to travel and catch up with them. Also, not going to lie, I love food and is pretty awesome if my couchsurfer can share their cooking skills, especially cuisines from their native country.
Interests
I enjoy attending rock gigs and discovering new bands, attending stand up comedy shows, and travelling. Also tasting different cuisines from round the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
Punk rock/ metal/ alt rock/ indie is preferable.
In terms of movies and books, nothing particularly specific. I'm not a massive movie buff, and read quite occasionally... But genre depends on my mood
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen the Northern Lights on a flight into Reykjavik on my birthday.
Hiking Cinque Terre
Of course crossing Sydney Harbour for quite a bit of the first 22 years of my life, which I quite often take for granted.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn different cultures and enlight others of my own.
I've hosted couchsurfers from different backgrounds, and I've accepted them all with open arms, and learnt something from all of them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to reciprocate the hospitality when they come to visit, also possibly expect some Australian snacks.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, England
