About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am currently interning for an NGO in Tamil Nadu, India. We work in education, public health, and micro-finance, and the experience I am gaining is to support my endeavor to earn a Master's Degree in International Administration. I finish work in May, at which point I will be traveling north through India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and beyond. I will see how far I can stretch my money until graduate school starts :)

I consider myself an affable, fun and generous individual. Constantly seeking to learn and challenge myself. To explore and discover.

An enthusiastic heart finds opportunities everywhere

Music, Movies, and Books
Been reading more novels and historical fiction lately. Currently reading Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts and really digging it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunrise in Patagonia was one of the most awe-inspiring and humbling things I've ever experienced. It's a great feeling to achieve a goal that you have quested after for so long. The pristine beauty at the bottom of the world helped remind me how truly small we are in this universe, and why it's ever important to preserve and protect the natural beauty that we in modern society are rapidly degrading- it makes my soul ache to think about.
Teach, Learn, Share
"Life is like a great bicycle race, whose aim is to fulfill one’s Personal Legend – that which, according to the ancient alchemists, is our true mission on Earth.
At the start of the race, we’re all together – sharing the camaraderie and enthusiasm. But as the race progresses, the initial joy gives way to the real challenges: tiredness, monotony, doubts about one’s own ability.
We notice that some friends have already given up, deep down in their hearts – they’re still in the race, but only because they can’t stop in the middle of the road. This group keeps growing in number, all of them pedaling away near the support car – also known as Routine – where they chat among themselves, fulfill their obligations, but forget the beauty and challenges along the road.
We eventually distance ourselves from them; and then we are forced to confront loneliness, the surprises of unknown bends in the road, and problems with the bicycle. After a time, when we have fallen off several times, without anyone nearby to help us, we end up asking ourselves whether such an effort is worthwhile.
Yes, of course it is." - Paulo Coelho
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, laughs and outlook on this gift we call 'life'. Love sharing travel tips on places we've been or are going to. I don't consider myself an expert cook by any means, but always enjoy new recipes and whipping up a dish here and there. I consider myself a generous person, and am always willing to share of myself and whatever it is I have.
