ABOUT ME

I have a simple lifestyle and a slightly complicated personality. If I like someone, I'm willing to do anything for them, I'm very empathic and selfless. Maybe too much. I consider myself very open-minded and I don't care about other people's opinion, unless it's someone I admire. I'm extremely curious and never satisfied, I always wanna learn something new!!
Overall, I'm just constantly trying to better myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I believe there's no better way to learn about yourself and grow up than meeting new people and discovering different cultures, and what better way to do so, than experiencing a place through the eyes of a local?

Intereses

languages, animals, learning new stuff by reading random wikipedia pages, documentaries & tv series, discovering new random & non touristy places, helping people, reading books suggested by others, jigsaw puzzles, writing down my thoughts, listening to people talk about what they're passionate about, visiting churches (I'm not religious), self-motivation books. I have a fascination with North Korea.
Last but not least, food food food!

books - I love reading, among my fav books are The many minds of Billy Milligan, Flowers for Algernon, Oceano Mare, The Girl in the Picture: The Story of Kim Phuc, The book of disquiet

movies/series - some of my fav movies are Paterson, Melancholia, The Prestige, Il Postino, Shutter Island, Call me by your name. series : Alias, Lost, Narcos, Game of Thrones, OITNB, Twin Peaks, Come fly with me, etc etc.

with the music is kinda hard to say - I just go with the flow and listen to whatever catches my attention. except for rap - that's a total no-go.

Watching the sunrise in Angkor Wat after riding my bike for like an hour through the not-so-calm cambodian streets ;)

Wandering through ancient Pompei.

Took part in a Buddhist funeral.

I'll try just about anything for awhile.
I would like to learn more about photography, reading tarots, new recipes, phsychology notions, etc etc.
If we have all the necessary instruments, we can cook together...tiramisu, anyone?
