Overview
About Me
I’m a university student studying Computer Science in Canada, and I’m currently doing an exchange term in Japan at Kyoto University. I’m a little bit quiet and shy by nature, but I also really enjoy meeting new people, and I think I’m pretty easy to get along with :) I really enjoy learning new things, and especially languages, because I love the feeling of understanding something I didn’t before. My Chinese (Mandarin) is fairly advanced, my Japanese is at an intermediate level, and I know very basic Korean as well. I’m living in a university dorm right now so unfortunately I’m not able to host, but if you’d like to hang out feel free to message me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled alone in China for two weeks, mostly communicating using Chinese that I studied on my own!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m happy to help with English and share about what life is like in Canada! And although I’m not a native speaker of Chinese, my level is fairly high, so if you’re a beginner studying Chinese I can help with that as well
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d be happy to talk with you in English (my native language) or answer any questions you might have about the language! I’m a friendly person and I think I’m pretty easy to get along with, so hopefully we can become friends :)
