About Me
Hey There!
My name is Erik Cullen. I've bouncing around too much the past year to be a great couchsurfer, but I'm happy to host whenever I'm in town (and aren't already sleeping on someone else's couch). I've always enjoyed the people I've met through CS, and love trying to pay forward all that amazing kindness and hospitality that seems to find you in this world when you are open to it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my experiences through other sites such as workaway, growfood, and helpx, I've always happened to run into couchsurfers who've loved their experiences. And I love the brief window into the lives of another it provides. On the other side of things, I love to host and pass that karma on, whenever it all lines up
Interests
My interests are spread pretty wide, I'm always happy to learn something new. Studying sustainable food and farming, I've focused a lot of my interests into agriculture and natural resource conservation, but there's always enough time in life to do all sorts of varied things. I love making music, painting and drawing, reading, biking, working with wood, hiking, skiing, kayaking, playing cribbage, playing with dogs, working in the garden, and watching the sun rise and set, and sitting in the amber of the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books
A little bit of everything. I've played the banjo since I was a kid. I've always been partial to folk music, but I have a deep love for anything that you can hear some sort of emotion put into. I read a bunch, and love picking up whatever kinda crosses my path.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fighting forest fires out and around Colorado while serving in the NCCC left me with some wild memories. Hitching and working around Alaska one summer was pretty phenomenal as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn about anything and everything, I find there's always something new to be learned when understanding someone else's passions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to help with any chores, and love to cook!
