Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think traveling should involve getting to know people from different places and seeing their culture, world view, and customs first hand. There's only so much you can really learn from museums, old buildings, walking tours, and books. I want to see how people actually live around the world - and make some friends while I'm at it.
