About Me
Hello!
My name is Erik and I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. I have hosted several people and also traveled through Europe and Japan using Couchsurfer and it's amazing! the best way to travel and meet cool people by far.
I am active, love to be outside. I am passionate about social justice and the international workers revolution :) I also love to see live music and dance. I like most music, and I really love to swing dance although I'm not great at it haha. I am a high school history teacher and in my area there is a lot of need for bilingual teachers, so I want to practice my Spanish. It's about as good as my swing dancing. I can do it, but it's not great. So that's why I need to visit Buenos Aires, so I can practice Spanish and Swing dancing and go hiking in the wilderness.
I like to cook and am handy around the house. I'm pretty outgoing and like to tell and listen to stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Only way I can afford to travel! also, it's the best way to meet locals and get a real feel for the city. When I can't travel, I like to host other travelers, so if you ever make it to Santa Cruz, you have a place to stay :)
