I work as a copywriter in marketing. I grew up nearby Cologne and have been living here for a few years now, Before this I spent over a year in Melbourne and lived in London for a bit. These days it's more short trips for me though, as I'm a divorced mum of a little daughter.
Being a working mum leaves me little time during work days; but even more at the weekends, when my daughter is with her dad. Same with the space in my flat; I'd like to start making more use of it by giving travellers a nice place to stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet interesting people from all over the world. Travelling always inspired me so much; I felt that the best way to get to know a city and a different culture is to spend time with a local. So hopefully I can contribute to a nice travel experience people have in Cologne.
I've had great couch surfing experiences in Italy! Unfortunately I had to set up a new account, so it doesn't say here anymore.
