Hi there! I am Érik.
Right now I'm in Sydney, Australia. Currently seeking a job, but of course, I'd also like to meet people around and enjoy the city and its surroundings!

I am dedicated to exploring the world to show its beauty and create awareness of the importance of caring for it. I focus mainly on nature, but in each person I meet, I find a different world, which I also consider important to take care of.
Traveling is for me a way to connect with others and discover the reality of this world, and photography is my tool to capture that reality, that beauty that I hope the rest of the world will also appreciate. That is why I like to motivate people to travel, and I want to teach photography because of all that it has given me personally and because of its power to transmit messages.
So I really like traveling and nature and meeting different people from different cultures: they open your mind and they can teach you very interesting things! I'm always friendly and honest ^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't offer a place to sleep right now, but i'm really grateful with those who can do it and they do. I love to meet couchsurfers when I travel, not only because of the free place to sleep, but also because of the opportunity to meet nice people and exchange experiences with them. I've learnt a lot when I've done couchsurfing and I think it's really open-minding.

Interests

I like animals and nature.
I like to read, to listen to music, to do sport.
I'm also interested in art, and I love photography too, so I always bring my camera when I travel.
I'm also interested in different cultures, especially in Japanese (I enjoy watching animes and listening to Japanese music).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling in Turkey for three months doing workaways (volunteerings) mainly.
Surfing and Snowboarding! This kind of adventure sports are super nice and not all the people dare to try it.
Hitchhiking (even more than 400km in one day). Very open-minding experience!)
Creating my own website (Well, it's not that incredible, but it takes a while to understand how it works...)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach all I know. Examples: Spanish, cooking, playing tennis, photography, maybe something about biology... And of course, I also can share my experiences!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good conversation, a Spanish meal and nice pictures! Whatever skill I have and can be useful for my host, I will share it.
