Overview
About Me
I:
- grew up in the Northern part of the Netherlands;
- spend my middle school-time as an ambitious sportsman;
- studied law at the University of Groningen;
- am currently searching for a job;
- am eager to meet lots of different people, who grew up in different cultures;
- am politically correct ;)
Besides all that I like to joke around, visit footballmatches/concerts and party every now and then.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To visit as much as different countries as possible so that I can meet/see lots of interesting people/places. The thing I like about couchsurfing is that it can give you such a different perspective on a country/city than when you visit the same place as a regular tourist.
When I'm traveling I like to do a little sightseeing in the afternoon, have some good local meals and have a few drinks in the evening/night.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am currently:
- watching Homeland and House of Cards;
- listening to various artists (Kings of Leon/Bob Marley/The Weeknd/John Mayer/Dutch urban and folk artists), I almost hate myself for saying it - because I think it sounds cliché - but: I like/listen almost every sort of music;
- reading 'In Europe: Travels Through the Twentieth Century' by Geert Mak and 'Oorlog en Kermis' (literally: War and Fair) by Olaf Koens, a book about the curiosities of Russia.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Forgotten some crazy nights, played with/against some great football players and lately had a great trip to Morocco.
Teach, Learn, Share
