I'm an eccentric individual who's hoping to do something extraordinary with my life. I speak 3 languages, I hope to learn more, and I'm going to school to receive certification in becoming an English teacher for students abroad. I'm in no way a partygoer, I prefer gatherings with a small number of good friends. I enjoy drinking beer, meeting new people, doing new things, traveling, writing, playing guitar, and reading.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just ended a 2 year relationship which was altogether unpleasant. Now that I'm no longer in a relationship, I'm hoping to do a lot of traveling whenever the time seems appropriate. I hope to go to as many places as possible while still devoting time towards school. Once I'm ready to take the next step towards my future profession, I hope that I'll have gone to all the interesting places within the USA

Music, Movies, and Books

I primarily like rock and metal music. Although I'm also fond of classical music as well. Some of my favorite bands include: Ghost, Opeth, Agalloch, Ellende, April Rain, and Les Discreets.

As for books; I'm fond of classics, and horror themed books. My favorite authors include Edgar Allen Poe, Bram Stoker, the Grimm Brothers, Gastón Leroux, and Miguel de Cervantes

When it comes to movies, it really depends on the occassion. Typically I like horror movies, and some movies from other genres
