Über mich
I try to live by the idea that you only have as much fun as the fun you make yourself. My friends would describe me as a social, intelligent and a generally fun guy to be around. Life is meant to be lived! I will always find the good in any situation and somehow make it fun for everybody there, in one way or another. I've found the lust to travel growing in the last few years, and so I've come to CouchSurfing to sate that need.
Life is what we make it - it's all up to us! You won't have more fun than the fun you make yourself, and there's no reason to be so gloomy. Just smile and think about all the wonderful things, people and experiences all about you!
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I started with CS back in 2012, and I haven't stopped enjoying it since then! While I haven't done as much the last year, it still give me a lot of joy when I do. The biggest part, for me, is the cultural exchange and the amazing discussions I have with other CS:ers - I just love sharing and hearing about how people are living life in other parts of the world! I haven't had a single bad experience with CS, and quite a few have been extremely good. There was one slightly weird though, but not overly so... I have no intention of quitting any time soon, anyway!
Interessen
I'm that guy who can hear a good song and feel an inexorable need to learn it, which I'll do by grabbing the nearest guitar or find a piano. You'll find me outside in any sunlit weather, either just for a walk or a round of golf. I'm currently working with cancer research at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm as a PhD student, which takes up a lot of my time. I'm very passionate about music, which is also something I spend a lot of time on, both performing and teaching it to others. If you yourself dabble in music of any kind, I'd love to get together and make some music with you!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
One amazing thing would have to be seeing (and going through) the wall and checkpoint of Bethlehem - quite the experience, even though we were the only people there at the time. Eight meters high, towering over you - yet filled with the most wonderful of images!
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I actually work as a guitar teacher, so that's something right there you could learn! I've got a couple of instruments at home (including an ukulele, a digital piano and a Chinese bamboo-flute), so there's no shortage of things to try out. Singing? Yes, please! I also dance Lindy Hop, so if you want to try it out I'd be happy to show you the ropes.
Should you want to learn something more theoretical, I suppose I could tell you about biotechnology, evolution and related philosophical arguments both theological and profane. I love any kind of discussion, really!
