Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Erika. I love being outdoors, reading good books, sitting by camp fires, and getting into deep conversations about basically anything with anyone. I love music, cats, and sewing as well. I would consider myself very outgoing, smart, sassy, and funny. I like to tell stories about my different experiences that I have had in my 25 years of life, while also listening to others and see if we have something in common. I love style, and am always trying to not spend more money on clothes than on food. I am using this site to hopefully meet some amazing people on my journeys across the US, and hopefully overseas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing right now, well to couch surf. :D I am currently traveling to Seattle, and I desire a place to stay. I do love to be outdoors, so I am hoping to either go hiking, paddle boarding, and eventually go out to some local places that not all of the tourists go to. Thats the part of the city I desire to see.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh lord. I love old school, mostly 60 and 70's era, classic rock. But, anything by ACDC I love. I love bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Velvet Underground. I also love the Mammas and the Pappas, The Supremes, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, and the Kinks. As far as newer bands I like The Gorillaz, Little Dragon, MGMT, Metric, The Sounds, The Arctic Monkeys, Neko Case, Fleet Foxes, Kelela, Jorja Smith, Kimbra, and Vince Staples are just some of many. I could stay up all night talking about music. I love vinyl records too.
I used to play Trombone, Bass Trombone, and Baritone as well in high school. I was quite good.
I love, love, love Chuck Palahniuk books. I'm almost positive I have all of them, and have read all of them.
I love any books that are movies : One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Requiem for a Dream, A Clockwork Orange, ect. I like to watch the movie first, and then read the book because then I am able to put a face to the characters instead of having to make up their appearance. I also think that you are less disappointed in the end, since books will have more information and details into the events that occur.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would have to say putting myself out there in situations I was scared of or apprehensive about, and not being scared of how people view me or being too concerned with the outcome of things. Learning about how you deal with things that make you uncomfortable makes you focus on how to make it uncomfortable for you. I think that, in itself, is pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a very liberal, open person. I do not hate or discriminate and I do not tolerate racism or any shaming of anyone's life decisions at all. I believe in a greater power, but I am open to hear anyone's thoughts about life, and talk about anything. I love talking to people, and seeing how they see the world through their eyes and views. I will never tell someone that they are wrong about a certain thing, because that's not how you grow as a person. How you grow is by listening, and learning to accept people for who they are.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a very nice, kind, fun loving female who loves to talk to people about their lives and share common interests. I think I explained myself pretty well! I really do look forward to meeting everyone who happens to cross paths with me, and I hope to learn something new from them as well. :]
