About Me
Please read my profile before requesting to stay with me :)
Couchsurfing has been the best decision I’ve made! I’m so lucky to have met such remarkable people and have them touch the lives of my family through their culture and knowledge shared. It’s truly a wonderful thing to be a part of and I can’t quite express it in words.
A little about me: I’m a pretty laid back mom. I have always wanted to expose my children to other cultures, walks of life and languages. Hosting Couchsurfing guests has been the best opportunity to do just that. I love hearing different perspectives and learning about the world outside of me. I want my kids growing up knowing there is a world outside the US and have a hunger to see it.
As a host I let things flow organically. I love to spend time and share coffee or a meal or even go out exploring with guests (the furthest I’ve gone with guests thus far is the Grand Canyon). Schedules and obligations don’t always permit me but I am open to whatever happens.
I encourage my guests to come and go as they please. I usually give guests a spare key. I really hope they feel at home here.
From a safety perspective for myself and my children; I will only host single men with 5 positive references or more. No exceptions. I apologize to anyone who is well intentioned. Thank you for understanding.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to help backpackers and travelers that would otherwise not be able to afford traveling costs of hotels achieve their dreams of seeing the world. I’m also here to travel and learn more about the world and myself through others. I live for new experiences and hope to pass them on to my children.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read anything fantasy/science fiction and thrillers. For non fiction I love to read and learn about science, psychology, political science and activism or biology related.
I have watched all kinds of movies from animated to historical and rom com. I think my favorite genre is fantasy and anime. I’m a huge fan Avatar the Last Airbender (the cartoon series on Nickelodeon) and Hiyao Miyazaki.
I’m more of a pop music girl but I also like Indie. I’m a bit of a dancer so anything that can get me moving with a beat is fun times for me :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Raised 6 beautiful children who are my world and joy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about others and their customs and culture. I love having discussions with Couchsurfing guests at my coffee table and learning as much as I can. People and the world are so interesting!
I will share my home, my life experiences and meals with my guests. I can teach a little bit of English and about Vegas and what to do off The Strip and show a more down to earth everyday life of a family in Las Vegas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am open to just letting things flow. I can bring little things from the US and also help around the house. I am very clean and considerate of others. I don’t have any expectations other than having fun in the moment and learning new things.
