About Me

What to say here? It seems pretty hard to describe oneself. I would probably start by saying that I love travelling, since I was little I travelled with my parents and learned that travelling was not only sightseeing but getting to know the culture and the people that live there. I believe that interacting with people from different cultures enrichs us and makes us better persons, it's always great to see different points of views and forms of living, there's always something to learn. I recently moved to Spain (I'm from Argentina) with my boyfriend and our two cats. I'm a vegetarian and love animals. I love the carreer I chose: physician. I love to spend time out in the nature and I am currently learning Ayurvedic medicine to complement and expand my knowledge...
I am mostly a day-person, while on trips I enjoy early waking and making the most of the time there. The same with my everyday, I wouldn't describe myself much as a party person. Although I love to spend time and plan trips with my friends and family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically because I'm looking forward to experience travelling on a different point of view, mainly meeting locals and getting information from the hidden places/gems there. It's really nice to build memories (and why not friendships) from traveling this way.
Also I think that travelling should not imply economical bareers, and it should also open a range of possibilities that only travelling methods such as couchsurfing can provide.

Interests

I like walking around/hiking and discovering things that would usually go unnoticed, and I'm most likely to photograph these. I like watching movies and tv series, reading books, doing yoga... Approx 2 years ago I started meditating and learning about buddhism, ayurveda, and other mindfulnes philosophies. I'? basically learning to experience the world through my senses and with more presence in the time being.
I love animals in general. As I mentioned before, I have 2 cats (Zazu and Fira), which I love. I also really enjoy cooking, learning new recipes and different types of cooking (indian, thai, etc). I love going to local markets and trying local food/groceries.
I am learning German and I'd really love to learn other languages in the future. I enjoy learning simple words or greetings in the local language from the country I visit in order to experience things/people differently.
