À propos de moi

Always hard to describe oneself, but I should say that I am always on the move, looking forward to new exciting life experiences and meeting people from different horizons.

In 2015, I ended a trip of 8 months, having travelled on my own mostly all around Australia ( as well as one month in New-Zealand, and some stops in India and Bali). This has been an awesome experience that I wouldnt have enough suitable words to describe... :-)
I like to go on adventures whenever I've got the opportunity (for instance every time I quit my job ! ). This enabled me to do months trip in France, in scandinavian countries and Japan, and that was so rewarding !

A kiwi woman I've met, who had been backpacking around the world when she was younger, told me that through our meeting and my stories she was still exploring and doing "armchair travelling". And that's exactly what I want to do until the time comes for me to go on the road again for longer.

I grew up in the countryside close to Paris before moving there, we had chickens and a big vegetable patch, so I am now used to living in the country as much as in the city. Enthusiastic, determined and reflective, I fancy sharing and learning from the other random travellers' ways of life.

Hosting part :

I'm living in Villeurbanne, near Lyon. My boyfriend is not always here but quite often.

Some values are very precious to me : the desire to live as simply as possible, and in the respect of every sentient living being. :-)
I am vegetarian, and please, do not bring meat or fish (dead animals indeed) at home if you come to stay with me. If this is a problem for you, don't send me a request please.
If you don't mind, we will be able to have a nice time together ! You'll be more likely to be hosted if you mention -pink elefant- in your request, so I'll know you took the time to read my profile, as not that many people make the effort to read people's profile and write something personalized. ;)

I really believe we have to be the change we want to see in the world, by being more conscientious and respectful to the nature and our environment. I've also started to get closer to minimalism which seems to me a good match with these thoughts !

------------------------------------------------------

As long as I have enough free time, I can hang out with you and show you some nice spots ! I do my best to include my guests in my daily life as much as possible, if they are interested in. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Look forward life without limits.
The law of attraction influenced (and it's still going on !) my whole life.
I'm very interested in human energies and to me, if you remove your limiting thoughts to turn them into positive, your life can be whatever you want. In overall I'm really into talking about spiritual topics. :-)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I just want to pay back all the kindness I received while I was travelling and keep sharing and learning from travellers. :-)
I can host about once a month, so when I can't, I'm more than enthusiastic to meet up with whom would like to see more of the city, and try to make their time here nicer. :)

I had more than 40 different hosts (through my boyfriend's profile and Couchsurfing fb groups) and I had unforgettable times.

I've hosted so far 10 times last year in Paris and just started again in Lyon (people from France, Chile, Argentina, England, Canada, Norway and India). I'm looking forward to meeting my next couchsurfers. ;-)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Actually, the most amazing happened 2 years ago.
Swimming with sea turtles next to the Great Bareer Reaf, picking some coconuts at the Cape Tribulation beach, Cuddling kangaroos in beautiful Tasmania and watching all the great wildlife... Australia never stopped astonishing me.

I've challenged myself by doing hitchhiking on the west coast of Australia and on my own around the south island of New Zealand. And it turned my whole experience into something totally awesome. I'd never have expected to face so helpful and brilliant people. Some of them truly impacted my life, and I wouldn't be able to express how grateful I am towards these persons.

Feel and act in a positive way and you'll experience the best things coming back to you.

Also I would like to learn italian as well as learn playing harp and ukulele. :)
