About Me
Hi! My name is Erika!
I'm a young professional living in one of the best cities in the world (Toronto) though I'm sure most people think their home is the best.
I currently work for a tech startup as a Marketing Manager. I like knowing how people tick, how to educate and add value to peoples lives, and generally hearing everyone's story.
I'm the oldest of three girls, a dog lover, and love to spend time with friends exploring new things and finding new adventures.
If you have any questions, or just want to chat feel free to PM me :) I'm an open book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Recently I've traveled solo more often, and while that presents new benefits and challenges I really do enjoy the company of people when I come home.
to me, couch surfing is the opportunity to meet new and exciting people while traveling. I want to understand the culture of a place, not just what's shiny and new for tourists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently I found myself in Las Vegas for a conference. I was able to extend my stay 4 days and rent a car, driving out to Utah alone. Along the way I visited: Valley of Fire, Zion National Park, Bryce National Park, Saw 5 rams, 1 deer, climbed 3 mountains, got stuck in 2 thunder storms, and spent 2 nights sleeping in the back of a Kia (I'm 6 feet tall).
It was scary, exhilarating, and one of the best mini-trips I've done in a long time.
