HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently traveling, but would love to host visitors in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't used this site before but I have made wonderful experiences in the past.

I would love to cook meals with my host, play boardgames, go for a bike ride or a hike, or just enjoy conversation. I'm down for anything, and can help host with household chores, gardening, pet care, etc.

My first cycle touring adventure in 2009 brought me through mountain passes, arctic rainforest and the low lying tundra of the Yukon and Alaska, needless to say, I was hooked. Since then I’ve put thousands of additional kilometers under my feet. I was fortunate enough this summer (2011) to spend 3 weeks in the saddle touring with my dog Milo by my side, covering British Columbia all the way to the prairie winds of Saskatchewan.

Relatively new to cycle touring, i have ambitions to cycle the rest of my great country before taking on as many others as possible in this lifetime.

When I’m not in the saddle, I can be found persueing other outdoor passions such as rock climbing, gardening, canoeing and skiing, and some not so outdoorsy hobbies such as gluten free cooking & baking, reading and dreaming about living in a treehouse.
