"That which seems most feeble and bewildered in you is the strongest and most determined."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To embrace the best of humanity.
Interests
I'm interested in meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and making everyday an adventure. From bungee jumping to reading a book on a beach, I'm up for pretty much anything. I will try any food at least once without asking what it is first, and I love the company of open minded folks that cause me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace different perspectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Peru I had the time of my life. I was interning at a public health clinic by day and bar tending at an Irish backpackers hostel by night. I did a five day trek to Machu Picchu, did the worlds longest zip line and the highest bungee jump in South America, and spent a week in the jungle where I ate piranha, beetle larvae, and termites. Pura vida!
More recently, I walked 500 miles across Spain with my mom, completing the Camino de Santiago at Finisterre. Immediately afterwards I co-organized a trekathon fundraiser around the Annapurna Curcuit, made it over Thorong La pass at 5,416m, and the proceeds went towards the grassroots efforts of a Women's Empowerment NGO in Nepal.
In New Zealand I got outside on all my days off, tramping as much as my body and boots allowed in Fiordland National Park, then I hitchhiked my way all the way up the South Island to skydive over Able Tasman National Park.
