About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try a piece (or multiple pieces) of chocolate from every country in the world.

ABOUT ME

Hello everyone!

My name is Erika. I'm 20 years old and come from a small town in the US that I'm sure you've probably never heard of. I spent a semester in France where I was fortunate enough to do some traveling and stay with many wonderful hosts from around Europe. One of the main reasons I chose to study abroad was to meet people from different backgrounds and walks of life. That's why I believe that CouchSurfing is such a great thing! Get to meet new people who are from the area and get to see, first hand, the culture. Also, my "current mission" is kinda a true statement. I love chocolate.

PHILOSOPHY

Live for today&Live in the moment

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed through Europe and had the best time meeting new people and exploring new areas of the world.

Interests

I love to try new things and explore new areas of the world. I'm very interested in different cultures and how people from different areas of the world live.

On a less deep note, I also really enjoy being outdoor (hiking, camping, going to the beach, walking, swimming.. you get the idea), going out (mostly to dance), and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Typical girl, I hate scary movies. But I love pretty much anything else. comedies are on the top of the list, as well as history films. Pearl Harbor, anyone?

Music is pretty much the same situation. I love really everything, it just depends on the mood I'm in that day. I can say though, about 98.36% of the time I want to listen to something that is upbeat and gets everyone dancing.

As far as books go, I really enjoy reading sappy romance novels, with the exception of Nichols Sparks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My entire study abroad experience has been filled with amazing things. Having the opportunity to meet so many new people and see so many new places has made these few months, the best of my life.
