Présentation
À propos de moi
Hey guys!
Most strangers are just friends you haven't made yet.
Optimistic, open-minded, and unable to properly describe myself in words.
Currently finishing school in New York City and planning a large solo trip through South America to celebrate!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I want to see the world and meet new people. Many people think of couch surfers as people who want a free place to crash, but my main goal here is to meet new people and experience new places. I think that getting to know someone who actually lives in the city that you are attempting to explore is the best way to get a really authentic view of the culture that each place contains. I also think that, generally, people who are willing to involve themselves in programs like couchsurfing, are people who are generally open minded, and who share my desire to meet and experience new people and things. These are the people that I am most excited to meet!
Right now, I am unable to offer a couch to surf on, but some day I plan on having one, so if we meet across the world, I would be more than happy to return the favor somewhere down the line.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I spent a year working in an inner-city school on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. I worked as a tutor, mentor, and co-teacher in an extremely disadvantaged socio-economic environment. While it was the hardest thing I have done, I believe that it was also the most important, and I miss it every day.
I taught English as a foreign language in Barcelona for a year. I moved there with no money or knowledge, and had the time of my life, while meeting the most amazing people.
I walked 500 miles in 28 days across Northern Spain on the Camino de Santiago. I left alone, and carried only a backpack and my thoughts, and will never forget what followed.
